Stacy Sims, founder of the True Body Project (http://www.truebodyproject.org) presents a workshop about how trauma and stress are reflected in the body. Sims is a recognized movement educator in the U.S. She is the founder of True Movement, a deceptively simple exercise program designed to restore alignment, strength and balance to every body – whether a highly trained athlete or someone who is physically challenged due to injury or illness. The REDEFINING TRAUMA workshop is designed for anyone interested in movement and/or learning about how stress and trauma habituate in the body. It is also important work for anyone who teaches movement and/or works with at-risk populations. Sims offers easy, gentle practices to restore balance to our physical, emotional and cognitive systems. Her work is the perfect compliment to yoga, Pilates, dance and other movement modalities. http://www.stacysims.net Sunday, February 5th, 2012 / 2-5 pm / Rp.300,0003 DAY High Vibe Yoga Immersion: Soft Heart, Sharp Mind & Vibrant BodyFebruary 6 - 8, 2012/ 8 am - 4 pmJoin Yoga Barn teachers Emily and Bex for a 3 day High Vibe Yoga Immersion—all levels welcome!
