Who is this retreat for?

Meet your facilitator Jana Johnson

Jana Johnson integrates psychological awareness, spiritual practice, and holistic healing modalities into her offerings. She was formally trained in foundational psychology with equal amounts of concentrated study in spiritual disciplines, energy work, and metaphysics through the Helix Training Program in New York City.

Jana is educated and trained in a diverse range of practices rooted in Buddhism, South American earth-based modalities, Reiki, and, in the past decade has focused on Ayurveda, Yoga, and traditional Tantra. She holds a deep respect for these traditions while she continues to shape her uniquely personal path of facilitating healing.

Jana’s sessions are thoughtfully designed to target imprints (from your history, lineage, karma, etc.) within your psychological and energetic fields that hinder your full self-expression. Through connected conversation, hands-on energy work, meditation, and breathing practices, she guides you toward a state of clarity and liberation.


Back into Balance with Anika

The 3 Day Back into Balance Retreat is a transformative personal development journey designed to allow the opportunity to pause, reflect and come back into our natural state of being: “balance and harmony”.

Through a range of holistic integrated approaches, from gentle somatic yoga, warm water therapy, energy healing and guided meditation, we guide you to:

Who is this retreat for?

Meet your facilitator Anika Gunawan

Anika Gunawan

Anika was initially drawn to yoga as a sanctuary from her demanding corporate career in Australia. The practice of yoga has truly transformed not only her appreciation of movements, but also her entire way of living and loving life. In 2016, she then decided to leave her career in Finance to then become a yoga teacher in Melbourne.

Anika is trained in various healing modalities such as Theta Healing, Aquatic Bodywork (Healing Dance), Breathwork and Body-Mind Centering practice.

Her classes are a blend of yoga, dance, creative movement and breath practices to nourish the body, mind and heart. A mix of strong alignment-focused practice with a dose of laughter and occasional silence. Her aspiration is to inspire the expansion of our innate ability to feel and experience each moment fully, as it is.

She is a gentle and loving space holder, dedicating her life to create and curate a safe space, especially for women to feel confident to speak their authentic voice and move their body.

Hormonal Health for Women

With the guidance of your professionally trained Sexologist specialising in Women’s Reproductive and Sexual Health, immerse yourself in nourishing practices to address fatigue, heightened emotions, sexual difficulties including decline in libido, loss of confidence and other hormonal challenges including fertility issues, reproductive health issues (eg: P.C.O.S's, fibroid and endometriosis) postpartum, perimenopause and menopause.

Retreat itinerary example:

Day 1

  • 9:00 am – 10:30 am: Discovery and Intention Setting session
  • 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm: Foot acupressure
  • Free time can be used for a Yoga Class/Meditation (your choice or as recommended by the facilitator)

Day 2

  • Free time can be used for a Yoga Class/Meditation (your choice or as recommended by the facilitator)
  • 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Counselling/Sexological Practice Session

Day 3

  • 11:00 am – 12:30 pm: Integration Session
  • 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Grounding Hot Stone Shila Massage
  • Free time can be used for a Yoga Class/Meditation (your choice or as recommended by the facilitator)

Meet your facilitator Jo Brown

Jo Brown

Jo is a Somatic Counsellor and Sexologist with over three decades of experience in facilitating evidence-based wellness and yoga programs worldwide. She holds a background in psychology, bodywork, energy healing, and yoga, having studied at Newcastle and Curtin University and under various esteemed teachers. Jo specializes in supporting embodied transformation, focusing on female sexual difficulties, relationship issues, and reproductive health. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Sexological Practice. Additionally, Jo is privileged to have received mentorship from Australian indigenous elders, particularly in women's lore. Based in Ubud, she teaches at Yoga Teacher training programs, writes for well-respected publications, and is working on her first book about Embodied Living: Sex, Love, and Practical Magic.
